New Trustee - Louise Walker
We’re proud to announce the appointment of Louise Walker to the Board of Trustees at Let's Do More.
With over 24 years of experience in Sport and Physical Activity Development, Louise brings a wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to inclusion. Her leadership in initiatives such as Leeds Girls Can and her involvement in regional anti-racism and leadership programmes reflect our shared values around equity, access, and positive change.
Louise’s appointment strengthens our commitment to developing opportunities for women and girls in sport and provides a strong foundation for the next chapter of LDM’s leadership. Her passion for breaking down barriers and creating lasting impact aligns powerfully with our mission to change lives and create opportunities through basketball.
“When girls are given equal opportunities in sport & physical activity they find their power, their potential, and their people. Having more females in sporting leadership positions shows that it is possible, that women are just as capable as their male counterparts. If they can see it, they know it’s possible to be it.”
— Louise Walker
Louise joins an already outstanding group of trustees including Professor Kevin Hylton, Jason Pitter KC, Vicki Davis, and Karim Ibrahim. Look out for further exciting announcements as we head into a big summer of basketball at LDM!
