LDM Partners with Carr Manor Community School

In another major October announcement, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with Carr Manor Community School!

A collaboration based on shared values, we are delighted to be providing coaching for both club and curricular sessions with the school, alongside supporting staff with their basketball delivery. Carr Manor will also be host to new LDM team sessions, including our U16 teams, who will be training at the venue during the week. Matthew Skinner, Personal Development and Wellbeing Lead at Carr Manor Community School, said:

This partnership adds to a growing list of primary and secondary schools across the city that we work with, as we continue to expand our network and deepen our impact.

Alongside this, we are delighted to have been invited as supporters of the Leeds Learning Alliance, a collective of education and community partners working together to improve learning, wellbeing, and opportunity for young people across the city.

The Alliance brings together schools, colleges, and organisations to share best practice, champion inclusion, and create stronger pathways between education and community. These are values that sit at the heart of LDM’s mission — using basketball as a tool to inspire learning, leadership, and positive life choices.

Through this connection, we look forward to exploring new opportunities for collaboration, joint initiatives, and professional development that will strengthen our impact across Leeds.
