Let’s Do More CIC (LDM) was established in 2018 with the core purpose of inspiring positive change within the communities we operate in. Starting off as a campaign to get more people active and involved in positive activity, it now operates as a multi-faceted organisation, with all services linking to the organisations main aim to raise aspiration and inspire positive change for all those we work with.
Operating out of Leeds we have a vision to work throughout West Yorkshire and beyond, ensuring that the core principles and values of the organisation are upheld, regardless of session type or location. We have made a special commitment to the youth and have set up a multitude of programmes in some of the most deprived communities in Leeds, most notably our LDM Basketball programme which is growing to give more young people in the region opportunities to play and grow within the game.
‘ For me, sport is one of the levelers in our society, when used right, it can provide a platform for some of the most disadvantaged young people to showcase their immense capabilities. It also works as a incentive to improve in other areas, including education – It is this link between sport/physical activity and education which I believe to be one of the most crucial elements to improving opportunities for young people in our communities’

We have developed great partnerships with local and national organisations, whilst relying on a dedicated volunteer workforce to help grow our projects. We will continue to use a model which develops young leaders to help shape the direction of travel which the organisation heads; our commitment to upskill, develop and provide opportunities for our staff and volunteers is the foundations to which we wish to build our future.
